I must agree with Whize that the Tower of Ghenjei is the most over looked feature in the book(s). On the foxey side you make deals, and as Mat said "they cheat." I also noticed that Robert Jordan likes to put limitations on things and when he does he says so, he did not say what the limits where in Finnland. So working off this theory and the fact that the snakey side can answer any question (some might cost you your life), we can assume that the foxes can make any deal. So if you go in there and ask for them to cleanse saidin, what will be there price?

wotmania says: True, Jordan has not done much with the Tower of Ghenjei to this point. The foxes curing saidin is possible, but I lean towards the taint being removed when someone takes a hammer to the seals. Interesting idea, though, that had never really occurred to me.

Well, considering that lame kiddo got on his knees and did it, the point is mute

however, even if it wasn't done, asking about removing the taint is a bit close to the shadows for the foxes and snakes liking

we know that mins viewings always come true correct?
we also know that moraine HAS to be there at the last battle to help rand but the doorway to the aelfinn(i think that's right?) was destroyed so if she still lives she can't get out that way. so what is left? she either would have to make a deal with the aelfinn(doubtful) or find another gateway. jordan doesn't mention things that aren't of import more then once and he mentions the tower several times AND says what it does(ie a gateway to the eelfinn and aelfinn) so even if difficult to navigate it is still a gateway and what else would moraine be doing all this time? probably trying to get out. i think she will return through the tower and show up at the last minute OR watch from the shadows until the last minute after returning

It says that any things that are mentioned that touch the shadow have dangerous effects, and may even kill you. I'm not sure, but I htink the taint touches the shadow.(lol)

k i have one reason why this theory couldnt work. first off, youy have to be physically close to it, as well as mentally. you could say that he is close to it, but in fact he would be a universe apart. so hah.
