Is Olver Gaidal Cain?

I think it’s entirely possible that Olver is Gaidal Cain reborn. Both are supposed to be ugly, and before Birgitte was ripped form the World of Dreams, she said she hadn’t seen Cain in a while...

Olver cannot possibly be Gaidal Cain due to age. He may be a ugly little kid, but Gaidal was seen to late in the series and Olver is just to plain old to be him. He may be another hero though, ranging from Rogosh to Hawking, maybe even the crazy dude in the black mask who will "Herald the end of Ages"

Olver seems to be the most likely candidate (now) for Gaidal Cain. As was mentioned before, the ugliness, he's good w/ horses, etc. But also, it's right that he is too young. Cain was seen in Tel'Aran'rhiod in some books, but Olver had to be 4? 5? in tEotW. But then, maybe the Creator made an exception w/ Olver. Hey, the DO made the 'gars, maybe the Creator put Cain into a child's body. Though why he would do that (Birgitte seemed to think he was born normally, and nothing to go against that), I have no idea.

Noxlip has it right. In one, or more, of the books (so many, forget which one) it's mentioned that time acts really, really weird in the World of Dreams.

Nope. Aram has been described as good looking, which Gaidal is not.

Olver doesn't look too likely for Gaidal either, he's too old. Birgitte told Elayne that Gaidal has recently turned up missing at one time in a TAR visit, and this wasn't four years prior to meeting Olver (in Elayne's time).
